Annie & Connor’s Wedding at the De Vere Hotel, Cotswolds Water Park
As a wedding photographer, there are certain weddings that leave a lasting impression on you, and Annie and Connor’s wedding at the De Vere Hotel, Cotswolds Water Park was certainly one of those. Photographing their beautiful day in September 2024 was an absolute joy, and I’m so excited to share a little bit about their story and the magic of their wedding day.
Annie and Connor first booked me two years ago, and I couldn’t have been more thrilled when the big day finally arrived. As regular visitors to the Cotswolds Water Park, where they love spending time with their family, they knew that this stunning location would be the perfect backdrop for their wedding day. The connection they have to this place made their ceremony and celebration even more meaningful.
What truly stood out for me was how amazing Annie and Connor were as a couple. They were so relaxed and easy-going, making my job as a photographer a dream. And let’s not forget about their incredible dance moves! The couple’s Steps Tragedy routine was a total showstopper, and it had everyone cheering and laughing. I was able to capture so many fun moments, and their energy truly shone through in every photograph.
The love and warmth from their family were also a highlight of the day. Their parents went above and beyond to make Rhys, my videographer, and me feel welcomed and well looked after. I truly appreciate how kind and thoughtful they were—it made the whole day feel even more special.
As the day wound down, we took some sparkler shots overlooking the lakes, which provided the perfect setting for some final, magical photos. The soft glow of the sparklers against the backdrop of the water was the ideal way to close out a day filled with love, joy, and unforgettable moments.
